Hara Masala Chicken (Chicken Curry in Green sauce) is a nice change from the usual red curries we made in daily routine. Green Masala Chicken is really a Healthy and delicious easy to make recipe in a very quick time

Chicken pieces 500-750 g
Onions 2 medium (thinly sliced)
Yogurt 1 Cup
Fresh Coriander 2 cups(100 gram apprx) a
bunch
fat green mild chillies 6 large ones
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Cloves 4-5
Whole black pepper 6-8
Large cardamom 2
Ginger/Garlic paste 1 tsp
Salt As per taste
Oil 1/4 cup
Julienne's ginger 1 tbsp
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and fry till golden brown.
- Remove onion from the
oil and put in blender or food processor.
- Cut off the stalk ends of the chillies, chop them into rough
pieces and put them in blender.
- Pick the leaves off the coriander and drop them into the
blender too.
- Add yogurt and blend all to a puree.
- Now,add the chicken to
the oil in a deep pan.
- Increase the heat to between medium and high and fry the
chicken for 5 minutes.
- Add ginger and
garlic paste, cumin seeds , cloves,
black pepper and cardamom .
- Stir in yogurt mixture, garlic and salt .
- Add 1/2 cup water and cook on medium heat until chicken is done and gravy thickens .Garnish with Julienne cut ginger.
- The Hara Masala Chicken is ready now!!!
