Malpua /Malpura/Pancake Recipe (Dessert)



Malpua is a pancake served as a dessert or a snack, popular in Pakistan and India. It is a very popular dish served as dessert.A desi version of Pan cakes:)

Its home made. MalPua.

Ingredients:-

Milk - 1 litre
Flour (Maida) - 1/4 cup 
Semolina (Suji)1/4 cup 
Ghee - 1 cup
Water - Cup

How to make Malpua:-

  1. Boil the milk till it reduces to 1/2 its quantity.
  2. Roast the Semolina (Suji) till light brown. 
  3. Add to the milk along with Flour (Maida). There should be no lumps.
  4. It should be a smooth pouring consistency. 
  5. Heat the ghee. Take the batter in a glass
  6. Pour in circular movements into the ghee to form a small pan cake.
  7.  Turn over. Take care that it does not become crisp and hard.
  8.  Make a sugar syrup of 1 thread consistency.
  9.  Dip the malpura in the syrup (method below)and lay out on a plate.


Sugar Syrup Method



Ingredients:-

Sugar -1 Cups
Water -1 Cup

Instructions:-

Mix water Sugar in a PAN,Bring it to Boil and Boil until sugar dissolved.

(Note:You can also refrigerate this syrup,once cool to room temperature then transer it to a jar.Store in refrigerate)
