There are many versions of making "Peri Peri Chicken",and this is my own way of making it at home.Fusion of eastern and western.😊😉
Its is spicy dish with roots in Africa.This is one of the best tasting recipe.I hope everyone takes time to marinate it for 8 hours, the flavors develop significantly.😋
Servings - Serves 2-3
Chicken - 4 fillet
Garlic -3 cloves
Oil -1/2 cup
Peri peri sauce - 1 tbsp
(I bought it from Nando's chain)
Shan Biryani masala powder - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Vinegar - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 1/2 tbsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
1-Wash the chicken fillet thoroughly.
2-In a blender mix all above ingredients.
3-Now Marinate the chicken fillet in this mixture.(Note: Atleast 1 and max 8 hours)
4-Preheat Oven at 175 C,place these chicken pieces on greased try with the sauce and pop it in the oven to bake for 20 minutes.(turn them over through midway of baking).
5-Next,reduce temperature to 120 C and bake for another 20 minutes and brush chicken with it sauce so it stays moist.
6-Now, grill the chicken for 5 min (under the broiler/grill of the oven) each side,so they remain moist inside.
The Peri Peri Chicken is ready now,serve it with fries,fresh salad and cold drink.
